We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices within 48 hours.

TL;DR: TikDL does not host any video content. If you believe your copyrighted content is being misused through our service, contact us via the form below. We respond within 48 hours and take valid notices seriously.

Effective Date: July 25, 2025  |  Last Updated: July 25, 2025

TikDL.site respects the intellectual property rights of all creators and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent international copyright laws. This policy explains how copyright concerns are handled.

1. Content Hosting Disclaimer

TikDL.site does not host, store, or serve any TikTok video content on its own servers. Our service acts as a retrieval proxy — it fetches publicly accessible media files from TikTok's own servers in real time and streams them to the user's browser. No video files are retained after the download session ends.

If your content appears on TikTok itself, the appropriate party to contact is TikTok / ByteDance Ltd. directly through their official DMCA process at tiktok copyright policy.

2. What TikDL Can and Cannot Do

Because TikDL does not store content, we cannot "take down" a specific video — it does not exist on our servers. What we can do:

  • Block specific TikTok video URLs from being processed through TikDL
  • Block access to TikDL from specific users or IP ranges if abuse is identified
  • Cooperate with lawful requests from rights holders and legal authorities

3. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on their behalf) and believe TikDL is being used to infringe your rights, submit a written notice via our Contact Form with the following information:

  • Your full legal name and contact information (email required)
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
  • The specific TikTok video URL(s) being downloaded through TikDL
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Response time: We aim to acknowledge valid notices within 48 hours and take appropriate action within 7 business days.

Incomplete notices may not be processed. Notices that do not meet the legal requirements of the DMCA may be disregarded.

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content or access was blocked in error, you may submit a counter-notice via our Contact Form including:

  • Your full legal name, address, phone number, and email address
  • Identification of the content that was removed or blocked
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the content was removed or blocked in error
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your area
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 14 business days, we may restore access.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

In appropriate circumstances, TikDL will restrict or terminate access for users who are identified as repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. This is determined at our sole discretion based on the volume and nature of valid infringement reports.

6. Abuse of the DMCA Process

Submitting a knowingly false DMCA notice is a violation of 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and may result in liability for damages, including legal costs. TikDL reserves the right to seek redress against parties who abuse the DMCA takedown process.

7. Good Faith Cooperation

TikDL is committed to operating in good faith with copyright holders, users, and legal authorities. We review all valid notices promptly and will cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and courts.

8. Contact for DMCA Matters

All DMCA-related communications should be submitted through our Contact Form. Please include "DMCA Notice" in the subject/message to ensure it reaches the right team.
